Chad Jordon presents MCQC Quality Care Award to David Kephart, member of the Vivian J. Roller Family. The 13 children of Ms. Roller established the Roller Family Endowment in memory of their mother who died as a result of neglect in a nursing home. MCQC thanked the Roller Family for their generosity in creating the Endowment with a mission to inform and educate the general public regarding the importance of quality nursing home care for all Missourians.

David Kephart, member of the Roller Executive Committee, presents $10,000 check to Chad Jordon, MCQC Treasurer. The Endowment was established to provide grants for education and research to improve quality of care and quality of life for nursing home residents.

Judy Snyder, receives an award for her many years of service on the MCQC Board of Directors and for her efforts to assure that the elderly are provided quality long-term care and are treated with dignity. Making the presentation is Phyllis Krambeck, MCQC Vice-President.

A Recognition Award was presented to Pat Bowman of Springfield, MO. Ms. Bowman was cited for going beyond her duties to help residents and their families, and for being an inspiration to her fellow workers over many years as a long-term care nurse. A cash award was also given to Ms. Bowman.
