Annual Student Awards
The 2011 Vivian J. Roller Annual Awards program was held in
November, 2011.
The cash awards are limited to Truman State students enrolled in the
Health/Science program and are offered on a yearly basis.
Winners of the awards are determined by their applications based on
career goals, former and recent accomplishments/awards, current
activities related to career goals, and a written narrative related
to career goals.

The 2011 winners are (from L to R) Cody Campbell, Alizabeth Ballard,
Justin McDermott, Phyllis Krambeck (MCQC),
Joan Scacciaferro, Alaina Kramer and Dean Adkins (MCQC).
The Vivian J. Roller Family Endowment is part of the Missouri
Coalition and was established in memory of Ms. Roller who died in a
nursing home as a result of negligence.

The 2010 Vivian
J. Roller Annual Awards program was held at Truman State University,
Kirksville, MO., on January 19, 2011. the cash awards are limited to
Truman State students enrolled in the Health/Science program and are
offered on a yearly basis.

The 2010 winners are (from L to R) Beth Antonacci, Lee's Summit,
MO., Jenna Osseck, St. Charles, MO., Joan Scacciaferro and Megan
Temme, both from St. Louis. Miss Temme was unable to attend the
presentations.
The winners also received individual gifts from the Missouri
Coalition for Quality Care. The Vivian J. Roller Family Endowment is
part of the Missouri Coalition and was established in memory of Ms.
Roller who died in a nursing home as a result of negligence. Mrs.
Phyllis Krambeck, Roller Executive Committee member presided at the
event.
Past Student Awards
The Roller Family Endowment, part of the Missouri
Coalition for Quality Care (MCQC), was established by the thirteen
children of Mrs. Roller who died tragically in a Northeast Missouri
nursing home. The annual Student Award will be given to a student or
students from the Gamma Rho faction of Eta Sigma Gamma, Truman State
Univ. at Kirksville, Missouri who are working toward a degree in the
field of health/science. Eta Sigma Gamma is a national
health/science honorary. Gamma Rho chapter members are in
partnership with the
Missouri Coalition for Quality Care.
Let us give back to those who
have given us so much by ensuring that their golden years are some
of their best years.
